New aqueous positive electrode materials for nickel-zinc secondary batteries [Public Suwa University of Science and Technology]
This is a new positive electrode material that promotes the development of nickel-zinc secondary batteries.
We introduce a new positive electrode material that solves the issue of "capacity degradation" that has been a challenge for conventional nickel-zinc batteries. This positive electrode material is based on the intercalation reaction of layered double hydroxides (LDH), which consist of divalent metal hydroxide ions and trivalent metal ions. The layered structure of LDH also helps to avoid capacity degradation caused by the nickel-zinc reaction, making it suitable as a positive electrode material. It contributes to the development of secondary batteries that excel in performance and safety, serving as an alternative to non-aqueous, acid-based secondary batteries. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
